You can currently get two free games on the Epic Games Store, but they will only be available until October 17 UTC 15:00. After that, the free game giveaway section will refresh, and two new titles will replace them, which have just been revealed.

Epic Games has refreshed its selection of free games. As we've covered, you can get Empyrion – Galactic Survival and Outliver: Tribulation for $0 until October 17 UTC 15:00. After that, the storefront will once again refresh the free game giveaway section.

As revealed by the Epic Games Store, the two new free games that will be replacing the current titles are Invincible Presents: Atom Eve and Kardboard Kings. This new $0 games deal will go live after October 17 UTC 15:00 and expire on October 24 UTC 15:00.

Among the two, Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is from Skybound Games, the same creator behind The Walking Dead game series. You get to play as Atom Eve, one of the fan-favorite heroes from the Invincible comic. It's a hybrid between visual novel and RPG, and the game has narrative-driven gameplay with turn-based combat.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam and runs well on gaming handhelds due to having relatively low system requirements. The game usually goes for $9.99, but you can get it for free on the Epic Games Store next week.

Moving to Kardboard Kings, it's a simulator game that lets you take the role of Harry Hsu. You inherit a card shop that's set in a seaside town and progress through the game by buying, selling, and trading cards. While doing all these, you also build your own collection of cards.

Kardboard Kings has a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam, and it generally costs $19.99. However, you can claim it as a free game on the Epic Games Store after October 17 UTC 15:00. This game also runs well on gaming handhelds (512 GB Legion Go curr. $549 on Amazon). You can learn more about these two games from their trailers attached below.
