Dell unveils huge 43-inch monitor with 8 MP camera and 100W USB-C PD

With the Dell Pro P 43, the manufacturer is introducing a massive 43-inch monitor that is marketed as an all-in-one solution for conference rooms. To make this possible, the monitor offers four key features specifically designed for conferences. First, an 8-megapixel HDR webcam with a Sony Starvis sensor and an ultra-wide 120-degree field of view, designed to capture everyone in the room.
Artificial intelligence can automatically adjust the frame to focus on the people in the room. A mechanical cover protects privacy when no video chat is in progress. Second, Dell has built in four beamforming microphones with AI noise reduction, ensuring that voices from any direction are equally clear. Third, the soundbar beneath the display houses two 8-watt speakers. And fourth, the monitor features a USB-C port capable of charging laptops at up to 100 watts, allowing them to be connected to the monitor with a single cable.
Dell offers an integrated hub that connects laptops to two USB-A ports and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Alternatively, a computer can also be connected via HDMI and USB-B. The monitor features a 43-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and a brightness of 350 nits, it covers 99 percent of the sRGB color space. The included stand is height-adjustable. Alternatively, wall mounting via VESA 100 x 100 or 200 x 200 is also possible.
