Today (May 19, 2020), Dell has introduced a whole slew of enterprise-level PCs. This may leave IT managers overwhelmed with options for a new or upgraded workplace fleet. However, the OEM also has a new service that wants to take this weight off their shoulders.

Dell has just announced a generation of new enterprise-grade PCs for 2020. However, the OEM does not intend to just leave it at that for potential clients; rather, it has augmented its Workforce Persona services accordingly. The new arrow in this quiver is called QuickStart, and has been developed to help those with purchasing duties within an organization buy it the best possible PCs, matched to each staff member.

The company's QuickStart does so by employing the 'Workforce Persona' part of its full title. This refers to groups of specific employee types developed at Dell. The service operates by gathering information from the IT manager in question to sort target users into these groups based on their professional activites as they relate to their work PCs, including app and resource usage patterns.

Once each of these "Dell workstyle personas" has been generated, QuickStart recommends new devices that "optimally align with the needs" of each one. This service, then, may help expedite decisions as to which machines to buy within a given organization. It will start to become available from today (May 19, 2020) via Dell Technologies' dedicated consulting website.
