Reviews for the Dell XPS 13 9370 FHD i5

89.3% Dell XPS 13 9370 (Core i5, FHD) Laptop Review | Notebookcheck
The new XPS 13. It has been a few years since Dell last showered its successful XPS 13 line with a major update. While the hardware has already been used in the older model, the new thinner case is supposed to make everything better. One improvement we have already been able to spot: CABC can be fully disabled at last. Update: The review is now complete.

With a new design that catches up to the competition, Dell's XPS 13 remains one of the best all-around 13-inch laptops, but everyone's biggest gripe remains unchanged.

90% Dell New XPS 13 review: It's elegant, tiny and stupidly fast
Source: PC World English Archive.org version
Dell's New XPS 13 is slightly thinner, slightly lighter and a whole lot faster. With higher performance cooling, this Core i5 is easily as fast or faster than many Core i7 laptops. Add to it a Windows Hello camera, luxurious Alpine White keyboard deck and great battery life and you have a laptop that still sets the bar for how its done.

Dell New XPS 13 review: It's elegant, tiny and stupidly fast

From our experience with the second unit, we can definitely recommend the New XPS 13. With its slightly improved keyboard, Windows Hello support and amazing performance, it would be difficult not to. Let’s just say this again in case you didn’t read our review: the New XPS 13 with a Core i5 is generally faster than other laptops with Core i7 chips in them. That’s simply unheard-of.

90% Dell XPS 13 9370 (2018) review

If you need a compact, high performance Windows laptop, the 2018 Dell XPS 13 is the best laptop you can buy alongside the 8th-gen Lenovo Yoga 920. It is competitively priced, and even the high-end touchscreen Core i7 model at £1,649 is at least £300 cheaper than the same spec 13in MacBook Pro.

91% Dell XPS 13 review (2018): Still the best Windows laptop
Source: Engadget English Archive.org version
Overall, the XPS 13 remains one of the best ultrabooks on the market. It's fast, sturdy and sports a gorgeous screen. Dell didn't make any big changes to the design, but then again, it didn't really have to. When you've got something as good as the XPS 13 lineup, it's better to stick with what works.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrated GPU (GT2, 24 EUs) found on some Kaby-Lake-Refresh CPU models (15 W ULV series). Technically identical to the previous Kaby-Lake GPU called HD Graphics 620.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
