Despite the compromises, you’ll struggle to find a better performing laptop at this price. Acer’s Swift 3 has a Full HD 15.6in screen and is now discounted to just £ with similar memory and storage and an AMD Ryzen 7 2700U chip – a better configuration at a lower price than when we tested it. But it’s heavier and has just over a third of the Latitude 3300’s battery life.

Dell Latitude 3300 started off as a very good option for students. It is incredibly sturdy and has a rubberized sturdy edge all around it. However, it is a little pricey, and we are frankly wondering why is it marketed towards students. I mean, most of us have been students and prioritizing your expenses will never put that amount of money for a laptop. Or… a laptop like this one, more specifically.

Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.1.56 kg:
