89.1% Dell Latitude 7200 2-in-1 Laptop Review: The hybrid device leaves a good impression despite its yielding keyboard | Notebookcheck
With the Dell Latitude 7200 2-in-1, the Texan manufacturer has a competitor for Microsoft's Surface Pro 6 on the market. Especially corporate customers should be impressed with features such as built-in LTE. The design-related instability of the keyboard represents the biggest disadvantage of this Dell laptop.

80% Dell Latitude 7200 2-in-1 laptop review

The design of the Latitude 7200 is a homage to the Microsoft Surface, although the hardware inside is more modern. Don’t expect fantastic battery life or GPU performance, but for general computing tasks, this is a powerful platform.

Dell: Dell Inc. is a multinational technology corporation that develops, manufactures, sells, and supports personal computers and other computer-related products. Based in Texas, Dell employs more than 82,700 people worldwide (2009). In 2006, Dell purchased the computer hardware manufacturer Alienware. In most countries, the laptops are directly sold to consumers by Dell and each notebook custom-assembled according to a selection of options. In 2014, the global market share of Dell laptops was 12.3% and it is 14% in 2016.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrated GPU (GT2, 24 EUs) found on some Kaby-Lake-Refresh CPU models (15 W ULV series). Technically identical to the previous Kaby-Lake GPU called HD Graphics 620.

Intel Core i5:

i5-8365U: Whiskey Lake based low power quad-core processor (technically identical to Kaby Lake but produced in a further improved 14nm++ process) with vPro support. The four cores are clocked between 1.6 and 4.1 GHz (Turbo Boost) and support HyperThreading.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.

i7-8665U: Whiskey Lake based low power quad-core processor (technically identical to Kaby Lake but produced in a further improved 14nm++ process). The four cores are clocked between 1.9 and 4.8 GHz (Turbo Boost) and support HyperThreading.

0.935 kg:

Mainly, bigger-sized tablets and convertibles weigh as much.

1.18 kg:

This weight is typical for big tablets, small subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 10-11 inch display-diagonal.

83.03%: This rating should be considered to be average. This is because the proportion of notebooks which have a higher rating is approximately equal to the proportion which have a lower rating.
