Earlier this week, information emerged that DJI may not be launching the Osmo Pocket 4 this month after all. To recap, Photorabz claimed that quality control issues with accessories had pushed the arrival of the Osmo Pocket 4 into next year. Rumoured to be arriving in January, the Osmo Pocket 4 could well arrive too late for DJI to sell it in the US.
Now, a more detailed image showcasing the new vlogging camera has emerged online. Reposted to X by OsitaLV, the image appears to confirm the various rumoured design changes DJI has implemented from the Osmo Pocket 3 (curr. $518 on Amazon). For instance, additional physical buttons beneath its rotating viewfinder are visible, which were the focus of prior leaks.
Additionally, a much larger camera housing can be made out with passive cooling to minimise overheating too. Currently, this housing is expected to contain two cameras, which explains its growth from the comparatively small solution DJI uses on the Osmo Pocket 3.
The camera on the far right remains somewhat of a mystery for now, though. Not the DJI Pocket 2, some speculate that this could be a single lens variant of the Osmo Pocket 4. Hardware button placement would support this theory, as would another recent leaked testing shot that we embedded below. Possibly, these could arrive as the Pocket 4 and Pocket 4 Pro, although no definitive evidence in this regard exists yet.
