According to a report, DJI has set a tentative release date for the Mavic 3. The drone will be larger than the Mavic 2 and will arrive in two versions, both with identical camera hardware.

@DealsDrone has published more details about the Mavic 3, DJI's next drone. Previously, the account re-published Mavic 3 renders from WeChat, which have since been adjusted slightly in light of the new leaked details. The drone's design remains consistent, though.

Reportedly, DJI will print the Mavic 3's camera specifications on its housing; '7X' for the zoom camera and 'F/2.8 EQV 24' in the case of the primary camera. @DealsDrone adds the Mavic 3 will allow you to switch between its cameras seamlessly, too.

The Twitter account adds that DJI will release two Mavic 3 models with identical camera hardware and chassis that are slightly larger than the Mavic 2's. Supposedly, the entry-level model will have no SSD, leaving microSD cards as the only storage method. Conversely, the other will have a 1 TB SSD, as we have reported previously.

Additionally, @DealsDrone asserts that the Mavic 3 will feature a new remote control. Allegedly, this remote looks like its predecessors, albeit with upgraded hardware that supports DJI's OcuSync 3.0 (O3). Currently, prices remain unknown, but @DealsDrone states that DJI has 'tentatively scheduled' the Mavic 3's release for November.
