Latest DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Pro leak reveals more specifications, SKUs, a release date and a hands-on image
DroneDJ and Jasper Ellens have published numerous details about the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Pro, DJI's next drones. As far as we can tell, almost all the images below come from a user manual to which both DroneDJ and Ellens have access.
While the seven images may seem like a lot to pour over, a lot of it has already leaked, including that the Mavic 3 series would feature two cameras and much larger batteries than the Mavic 2 Pro has. However, this is the first time that someone has posted a full spec sheet for either drone.
Additionally, it seems that DJI will release three SKUs: the Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Fly More Combo and Mavic 3 Cine Premium Combo. Based on this screenshot, it appears as though DJI has settled on Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine for the two models, rather than Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Pro. As expected, only the Mavic 3 Cine will have built-in storage.
DroneDJ and Ellens state that the Mavic 3 will retail for US$1,600, the current price of the Mavic 2 Pro. It is unclear how much the Mavic 3 Fly More Combo or Mavic 3 Cine Premium Combo will cost, but the latter's accessories may push its price way beyond US$2,000.
Incidentally, DJI is expected to announce the Mavic 3 series on November 15. Ellens has also published a supposed promotional poster for the event, which contains the tagline 'Double The Fun', a nod to the two cameras in each Mavic 3 series model.
