Cyberpunk platformer Replaced has finally received a confirmed release date following years of delay. The game will launch on March 12, 2026, on multiple platforms.

They say delay is not denial, and Sad Cat Studios has revealed the official release date for Replaced. The cyberpunk-styled game, which was revealed in 2021, suffered setbacks due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, where some of the company’s staff were based.

The studio stated back in August 2025 that it was confident of a 2026 launch. A trailer shared by Sad Cat Studios now provides more clarity that the 2.5D pixel-art title will launch on March 12 across multiple platforms, including PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X/S.

The new video features original music titled Dusk and gives anticipating gamers the most extensive idea yet of what to expect. Replaced combines cinematic pixel art and side-scrolling combat in an atmospheric cyberpunk environment, very similar to the visuals originally shared by the company.

The indie studio said the delay has helped to deliver a “truly special experience.” Replaced will be published by Thunderful.
