Citizen adds new color to its Eco-Drive Rolan series

In June, Citizen expanded its Rolan lineup with both the salmon (AW2110-14Z) and mother-of-pearl (FE7130-10D) variants. Now, the company is adding yet another color option to the lineup, the AW2113-16X. The new piece combines a brown metal dial with a rose gold-tone stainless steel case and a matching brown leather band.
The model sticks to the simple design language of the Rolan series, using a 41mm case with a simple three-hand display protected by mineral crystal glass. Powered by Citizen's proprietary Eco-Drive technology, which swaps out a conventional battery for a solar cell (J830 Eco-Drive) hidden under the dial, the watch runs indefinitely as long as it gets occasional exposure to light, be it from the sun or artificial indoor light. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters (5 bar), enough for swimming or rain but not intended for diving.
The AW2113-16X is currently available in the UK via Citizen for £199. The same model is also listed in the US at $450. Although there is no official confirmation that the newly announced model will launch in other markets, Citizen often introduces new watches in the aforementioned markets first, so additional regional launches may well follow later.
