1-with-2. Android or Windows? Users of the Chuwi Hi10 Pro don't have to make that decision, since the Chinese hybrid tablet comes with both operating systems preinstalled. If the tablet is worth buying is the subject of our review.

To sum things up, we can say that Chuwi Hi10 Pro is one amazing tablet that can handle your everyday tasks perfectly. With its aluminum body, huge 10.1-inch display and good enough battery that can endure an average of up to 5-8 hours of autonomous work, it provides an ideal combination to meet the everyday needs of the average user.

It might be too easy to say “you get what you pay for”, but too often that’s used pejoratively. In the case of the Chuwi Hi10 Plus, however, that is far from the whole picture. You’d be hard pressed to find a $200 tablet that has “good enough” specs and ran Windows 10 and Android side by side. It has the combination of hardware and software to get you through your day, be it work or play, and, with the right accessories, you can turn what is a consumption device into a creation device. Within limits, of course.

Chinese devices tend to be cheaper than their more established competitors and are generally catching up on quality too. The Chuwi Hi10 Air is certainly cheap but is basically the same device as the Hi10 Pro, which is almost three years old. Nevertheless, a €200 (~US$223) convertible could still be a bargain and is worth a look regardless, even if some of its components are now a few years old. Read on to find out how the Hi10 Air performs in our tests and how it fares against its competitors.

As for the typing experience, well, opting for a 10.1-inch form factor for such a task is akin to choosing a van for car racing. You can do it but it does come with big issues; touch typing is a pain because of the nature of Chuwi’s detachable, passive keyboard, the touch pad is barely usable (too small and not responsive enough). One bright spot though is the stylus which is a treat and works rather well with its 4096 levels of sensitivity.

Chuwi has released the new Hi10 Max, a low-cost tablet with an IPS screen, an Intel processor, and Windows 11 Home. For a total of US$319, the package also includes a stylus and an attachable backlit keyboard. However, you shouldn't have overly high expectations regarding performance and battery life.

The Chuwi Hi10 Max is your go-to if you crave a high-res canvas for design, need robust multitasking, or want a laptop alternative without sacrificing screen real estate. It’s ideal for artists, writers, or frequent travelers who value performance over ultra-portability. The Chuwi Hi10 X1, however, is the minimalist’s dream. Its compact size, lighter build, and lower price tag cater to students, casual users, or anyone needing a secondary device for light tasks and entertainment. Ultimately, the Hi10 Max justifies its premium with future-ready specs, while the X1 keeps things delightfully simple. Your choice hinges on whether you’re chasing power or prioritizing pocket-friendly practicality. Either way, Chuwi proves that versatility doesn’t have to break the bank.

Chuwi is a Chinese manufacturer that first entered the market with a selection of Android tablets in 2014 before diversifying into laptops and mini PCs. The Hi10 Max is a large, nearly 13-inch tablet that Chuwi is selling for a modest price. It includes a keyboard and stylus peripherals, and you can buy it with or without those. The concept here is to offer something similar in features to the Microsoft Surface Go, but significantly cheaper.

Overall, I must say that the Chuwi Hi10 Max is a decent tablet. For the price of PHP 25,990, you get a Windows tablet that comes with a keyboard, stylus, and even the stand already. Since it runs on Windows, you can also think of it like a laptop as well. But therein lies the problem. As a tablet, it’s not the best since there are others out there better for drawing and has more power. The upside is that it has a beautiful 3K display and it runs on Windows. And as a laptop, it isn’t that great either. The keyboard and trackpad aren’t smooth, and battery life could be better. It also can’t run any games properly, so it’s mainly something for productivity purposes. You can do some creative productivity, but I would recommend using a proper laptop or computer to do so.

There's no doubt about how handy the small Hi10 X1 can be. Its compact size, relatively decent power, and robust build at an extremely low price make it an attractive option. The fact that it features a full-blown version of Windows, rather than Android, makes it easier to integrate into Windows-based work environments, making it a great choice for business users. The design is surprisingly stylish, and the aluminium frame, along with a decent range of accessories, gives it a premium feel despite its budget pricing. In use, the performance is also surprisingly good, even with some slowdown when too much is demanded of the processor and onboard graphics.

Overall, the Chuwi Hi10 X1 is a decent Windows tablet PC. The chipset is decent enough for daily use, and it can even run Genshin. The downside is the screen isn’t the best, and the battery is quite short, but for me, all of that I can overlook given its very affordable price point. Just how affordable is the Chuwi Hi10 X1? Well, depending on where you order it, it starts at PHP 12,199 for the tablet alone. If you want the package deal that includes the keyboard and the case, that only costs PHP 15,199 . To give you an idea, that’s the same as a lot of entry-level Android tablets. But with the Chuwi Hi10 X1, you’re already on Windows. So if you want a budget Windows tablet without breaking the bank, the Chuwi Hi10 X1 is one to consider. Just set your expectations with what it can do given the limited capabilities of the Intel N100 chipset.

Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
Intel HD Graphics (Cherry Trail): Integrated graphics card in the Cherry-Trail SoCs. Based on a Broadwell GPU (Intel Gen8) and supports DirectX 11.2. Depending on the SoC offers 12 or 16 EUs.
ARM Mali-G57 MP1: Integrated mid range graphics card with 1 clusters. Based on the Valhall architecture.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Intel UHD Graphics 600: Integrated low-end graphics adapter with DirectX 12 support, which can be found in some ULV SoCs from the Gemini Lake series. Compared to the HD Graphics 500, the 600 offers improved display outputs. Compared to the faster UHD Graphics 605, the 600 offers less shaders at lower clock speeds.
Intel UHD Graphics (Jasper Lake 16 EU): Integrated graphics card in Intel Jasper Lake Celeron entry level models based on the Gen. 11 architecture. Offers 16 of the 32 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model ranging from 350 MHz base to 800 MHz boost. The Jasper Lake chips are produced in the 10nm process at Intel produced (similar to Ice Lake).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel UHD Graphics 24EUs (Alder Lake-N): Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake-h SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 24 of the 32 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock speed depends on the processor model. Only suited for very low demanding games.

72.58%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
