Casio to launch G-Shock GMA-P2116W-8A watch for International Women’s Day 2026

Casio is celebrating women again this year with a new G-Shock GMA-P2116W-8A watch to commemorate International Women’s Day. The watch will go on sale on March 8 via the Casio website. Though the watch is already listed on the website, revealing features and design. Speaking more precisely, the watch retains the original compact GMA-P2110 design with a metallic ring bezel in a dark gray monochromatic color scheme.
The digital-analog watch ships with a metallic gray dial, which is adorned with a radiated brushed finish and gold accents at the tips of the hour markers. Like the GMA-P2210, the watch features a bio-based resin construction and measures 11.3 mm (0.44 inch) in thickness. At just 41 grams (0.090 lbs), it’s quite on the lighter side.
Key features of the G-Shock GMA-P2116W-8A watch include world time across 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer with a 24-hour countdown range, 5 daily alarms, a double LED light, and an auto calendar that extends up to 2099. Plus, it boasts a CR1025 battery, which offers up to 3 years of battery. Furthermore, it’s rated at 200 meters of water resistance.
As for price, the G-Shock GMA-P2116W-8A watch was unveiled as a March release in Asia and Japan for 22,000 yen. Moreover, the watch is also expected to be released in other countries such as the US.
