Casio has introduced the fx-9910CW ClassWiz scientific calculator, featuring a built-in spreadsheet app and natural textbook-style input. It offers hundreds of math functions, updated usability, and approval for use on standardized tests.

Casio US has released its fx-9910CW ClassWiz advanced scientific calculator with a spreadsheet app. This model comes with hundreds of math functions, allowing owners to tackle a wide range of mathematical challenges faced by junior high, high school, and college students.

The ClassWiz handles mathematical challenges in the areas of pre-algebra, algebra, probability, and matrix/vector math. It has the ability to create spreadsheets with 5 columns and 45 rows. Additional features include equation solvers, inequality calculations, and ratio calculations.

The user interface and button design have been updated for easier use, according to Casio. Users can enter equations in natural expression mode, as written in textbooks. By scanning on-screen QR codes with a smartphone, the calculator's solutions can also be graphed through ClassPad.net.

The calculator is permitted for use during multiple standardized tests, including the AP, SAT, SAT Subject, PSAT/NMSQT, ACT, and IB tests.

The Casio fx-9910CW calculator has an MSRP of $22.99 in black or pink. It is available from Casio and soon from the Casio store on Amazon. Teachers should contact Casio Education to inquire about bulk purchases and educational discounts.
