Capcom is reportedly working on a new Dead Rising game

Dead Rising is a franchise that has enjoyed great success since its launch in 2006. Developed by Capcom, it immerses players in different violent post-apocalyptic worlds with different stories. And nearly 10 years after the release of the last game, it seems that Capcom is working on a new title. 

According to MP1st, this new Dead Rising game has been in development since 2023 and could allow players to reconnect with some very appreciated characters. This is the case with Frank West, who is the main character in the first title of the franchise, but also with other characters, such as a girl who is searching for her sister. But a major change should be present, as the story should take place in Hollywood.

According to the information revealed, the main story takes place on a film set, but the director is crazy and decides to trap everyone in order to create what he considers to be the perfect film. Finally, other details have been revealed, and this new game would be the direct sequel to Dead Rising. Several elements from that title will be present, such as the camera of Frank West, the time limit, and the rescuing survivors mechanic.
