A short video uploaded by UDOO on YouTube has shown that the UDOO BOLT single-board computer is now being shipped to early-bird backers. The little board made some waves with claims that it was faster than a MacBook Pro 13 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 m3. Apparently, it can even work well when connected to a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card.

Backers of the UDOO BOLT Kickstarter campaign will be pleased to know that shipments of the powerful little boards have started. A brief “boxing” video has been shared that shows the single-board computer being packaged, boxed, and packaged again – ready to be shipped out to eager customers.

We reported on the UDOO BOLT board in March, specifically on the claims that the device could defeat laptops such as the Apple MacBook Pro 13 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 m3 on the Cinebench R15 Multi 64Bit benchmark, which it can thanks to its AMD Ryzen V1605B embedded SoC and a few handy caveats.

Another post from the BOLT single-board computer makers shows it working with a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti desktop graphics card. The testers in the video clip played Fortnite and Call of Duty: WWII using the UDOO BOLT computer in conjunction with Nvidia’s high-end card. The board worked well, and it even recorded a 3DMark Time Spy benchmark score of 7,817 points.
