Over the past few weeks, we've seen many OEMs bring AMD's Strix Halo chips to mini-PCs, not too long after AMD CEO Dr Lisa Su promised to bring the chips to more desktop platforms. The list includes players like Zotac, Framework, Beelink, GMKTec, and many others. Now, another one has shown up online, and this is made by Bosgame.
A new Geekbench listing of the Bosgame BeyondMax Series shows it to be running an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo chip with 64 GB of VRAM. Its multicore score of 16,044 is remarkably lower than our benchmark average of 21,269, but this can be attributed to unstable software. On the other hand, its single-core score (2,852) is within an acceptable range.
The company's website reveals the mini-PC in question will launch as the Bosgame M5 AI Mini Desktop. A promotional video on its YouTube channel shows it will come with a dual-fan cooling system, three heat pipes, two PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD slots, a USB 4.0 port at the front, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
Other Bosgame M5 AI Mini Desktop specs include support for up to 128 GB RAM and 2 TB storage, although the variant tested above only has 64 GB. While the Bosgame M5 AI Mini Desktop listing is largely empty, you can pre-order it now for $1,699.
