Original article continues as follows:

Asus has refreshed its ROG Falchion Ace HFX gaming keyboard from last year with a new special edition celebrating recent Counter-Strike Major champion and ROG ambassador Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut. The new version keeps the mostly black design of the original but adds bold magenta and yellow accents that make it stand out a bit more on the desk.

Announced alongside the ROG Azoth 96 HE gaming keyboard, the ROG Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition features magenta-tinted WASD keys, a yellow Enter key, and unique icons, including a sniper-rifle motif. The spacebar bears ZywOo’s signature, and the keyboard comes with a custom ZywOo-branded cover. Overall, it’s a tasteful aesthetic upgrade compared to the plain black original.

Asus ROG Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition key features

Aside from the fresh paint job, the ROG Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition is identical to the original. It uses the same ROG HFX magnetic switches, which enable advanced features such as Rapid Trigger, adjustable actuation, and SOCD for perfect counter-strafing. Gamers can fine-tune the actuation point of each key down to 0.1 mm for instant response. It also supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate to keep up with other top-tier gaming keyboards like the new Corsair Vanguard 96 Pro.

What really makes the Falchion Ace HFX fun to use is how easy it is to tweak everything. Unlike most Hall effect keyboards that require users to launch an app to adjust settings, this one puts all the controls right within reach. A dedicated Rapid Trigger toggle lets users enable or disable the feature instantly, while the interactive touch panel and multifunction button allow quick adjustments to actuation point, RGB lighting, and media playback on the fly.

Other highlights include a gasket mount with pre-lubed stabilizers, five layers of sound dampening, and shine-through keycaps. The keyboard also comes with two USB-C ports for easy switching between two PCs, along with adjustable feet for height customization. With its compact 65% layout, it measures 315 x 115 x 35 mm and weighs 643 g. That said, Asus hasn’t revealed pricing or availability details yet, but since the original model launched at around $199, we expect this special edition to land in a similar range.
