The ASUS VivoBook 16X retails for Rs 1,24,990 in India and for the price, gets a lot right. For one, the laptop offers a ginormous and attractive display that’ll be greatly appreciated by content creators. Furthermore, the device performs like a champ too, and we didn’t run into any major hiccups during our time with the unit. On the flip side, the laptop’s 60Hz screen might be a deal-breaker for those looking to buy a device that can also double up as a gaming rig. Furthermore, we would’ve liked to see a healthier selection of I/O. Be that as it may, the ASUS VivoBook Pro 16X is a fantastic machine for those who want to create on the fly.

This AMD version of the VivoBook Pro 16X is one of the best balanced multi-purpose full-sized laptops in its class, a viable choice for daily use and work/play. The major selling points of this series are the versatile hardware implementation, the 16-inch 16:10 screen available with either OLED or IPS panels, the fair construction and inputs, as well as the long battery life. On the other hand, the gimped USB-C port and the still limited availability in some areas might push you towards something else. We'll get in-depth on all the tids and bits in the review down below.

The Asus VivoBook Pro 16X OLED is a great laptop for its target audience, but with its hefty price, I feel it may not be the right device for all creators. For those with more video-editing use-cases, a ZenBook-series laptop with the brand’s signature ScreenPad Plus or Dual-Screen implementations may still make more sense. However, if you want a larger 16-inch panel with a brilliant OLED display (something all the ZenBook variants don’t have) along with newer, more powerful specifications, the VivoBook Pro is also a solid option to look at, depending on your personal taste.
