The Transformer Pad TF303K is the 10 inch Android tablet to get if you need an extra bit of productivity from such a device, offered by the capable docking station. There are plenty of things to like about this one and it sells for a good price, but unless you really want the 10 inch form factor + Android + keyboard combo, there are better options out there.

Asus Transformer 3 Pro T303UA-GN050T
The Asus Transformer 3 Pro T303UA-GN050T is a convertible tablet which offers great flexibility for travelers and professionals. It can be used for entertainment while travelling by switching to tablet mode but also for work by switching to laptop mode. This convertible tablet comes with high-performance hardware and a stylus, which makes it a competitive rival to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Apple iPad Pro. The convertible tablet weighs at 0.8 kg with only tablet and 1.14 kg with keyboard folio. It measures at 29.9 x 20.98 x 0.81 cm (11.77 x 8.26 x 0.32 inch) in tablet form and the height increases to approximately 1.25 cm (0.49 inch) with the keyboard folio. The stylus and cover keyboard conveniently transform the tablet into a makeshift laptop. There is a magnetic dock at the bottom edge of the tablet that holds the keyboard securely. Magnets also help to raise the keyboard to a higher angle to deliver a more comfortable typing experience. The keys on the keyboard have a reasonable gap between each other which makes typing comfortable without knocking to the next key while typing quickly and it is backlit for easier usage in dark environment. For hardware specification, it features Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, a 512 GB SSD with vibration protection and an integrated Intel HD 520 graphic card. The processor can achieve a maximum Turbo clock of 3.1 GHz. Since this device is a tablet and not a conventional laptop, storage and memory are soldered and impossible to be upgraded further. Its 12.6-inch LED-backlit high-gloss display features a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. A 12.6” screen diagonal is not that large for subnotebooks, but it makes a longer battery life possible. High-gloss displays ensure vibrant and high-contrast display, however, they can reflect environmental lighting. This display is one of the best among tablets. The Windows 10 64 bit Home system comes with a 2 cell Lithium-Ion 39 Wh battery, which is capable of delivering up to 15 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of normal usage. The built-in front camera and microphone provide convenience for video calling, which is essential for travelers in order to stay connected with people. For a convertible notebook, it is packed with many input / output ports including a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, HDMI type A port and a microSD card reader. As for wireless connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0. In a nutshell, the Transformer 3 Pro is certainly a good laptop-tablet hybrid. In some ways, Asus has taken the Microsoft Surface's idea and perfected it. Hands-on article by Jagadisa RajarathnamSpecifications

Serious Surface Competitor? Convertibles with strong performance are always a crowd favorite. Asus packs a Skylake i7 processor in a flat case and hopes for the best, but there are a few problems. In our extensive review, we will discuss the Transformer 3 Pro and its place in the competitive convertible market.

There’s plenty to like about the Asus Transformer 3 Pro. It’s quick, the display is great, and it’s quite a stylish tablet and notepad convertible. It’s priced more than the MS Surface Pro 4, at £1399.99, but it’s a far better convertible and one that’s definitely worth a look, mm David Hayward.

While Microsoft's Surface Pro (series) will always hold the distinction of popularizing full Windows-powered tablets that can do double duty as laptops, it's no longer the only one in the market. And even though the Surface Pro 4 is a great device in its own right, the Asus Transformer 3 Pro simply offers more at the same price of Rs 1,44,990.

Is the Asus Transformer 3 Pro an alternative to the Surface Pro 4? It most definitely is. Is it as good and powerful as that device? We wouldn’t say so. The build quality is not quite as good, and the touchpad needs more work. In absolute terms, it’s not as fast either. We reviewed the i5-powered Surface Pro 4, which was 10% faster than this.

Once again, if you are looking for a sleek, compact and still capable of running a full-fledged Windows OS, the Transformer 3 is one of the best choices out there as long as you are okay of sacrificing some performance, I/O and battery along the way. It still is cheaper than the iPad Pro and the 13-inch Windows notebooks.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, a Taiwanese multinational company, produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, PDAs, computer monitors, notebook computers, servers, networking products, mobile phones, computer cases, computer components, and computer cooling systems. The company's 2007 revenues reached US$6.9 billion. ASUS also produces components for other manufacturers. The Eee PC initiated the netbook boom in 2008.
In the notebook sector, Asus had a global market share of about 11% from 2014-2016, making it the fourth largest laptop manufacturer. In the smartphone sector, Asus is not among the Top 5 and has only a small market share (as of 2016).
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail):
Integrated GPU for tablet and notebook Bay Trail SoCs. Based on the Ivy Bridge GPU with four Execution Units and support for DirectX 11.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.
unknown:
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel HD Graphics 520: Integrated GPU (GT2) with 24 EUs found on some Skylake CPU models (15 W ULV series).
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Intel HD Graphics 615: Integrated graphics card in some Kaby Lake Y-series processors (4.5 Watt TDP) with 24 EUs (GT2) and no dedicated graphics memory. Clocks with Update to 1050 MHz depending on the CPU Model.

Intel Atom: The Intel Atom series is a 64-Bit (not every model supports 64bit) microprocessor for cheap and small notebooks (so called netbooks), MIDs, or UMPCs. The speciality of the new architecture is the "in order" execution (instead of the usual and faster "out of order" execution). Therefore, the transistor count of the Atom series is much lower and, thus, cheaper to produce. Furthermore, the power consumption is very low. The performance per Megahertz is therfore worse than the old Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz on par with a 1.6 GHz Atom).
Z3745: Soc with an integrated quad core Atom processor clocked at up to 1.86 GHz (Turbo), an Intel HD Graphics GPU and a dual channel LPDDR3-1067 memory controller.
:
Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
6500U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.
Intel Kaby Lake:
m3-7Y30: Extremely efficient ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) for tablets and fanless notebooks based on the Kaby Lake architecture. Includes two CPU cores clocked at 1.0-2.6 GHz with Hyper Threading support as well as a graphics adapter and is manufactured in a 14 nm process.
Intel Core i5:
6200U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.
