If excellent gaming performance is what you're primarily after and you're willing to spend $3000 on a full-size 17-inch notebook, the ROG Scar 17 in this RTX 2080 Super 150W implementation might be the most versatile option of its generation, both on its Turbo and especially on its Silent profile. But there's a design flaw that you need to be aware of: due to the very slim rubber feet on the bottom, the thermal module chokes while the laptop sits on the desk, so you'll need to somehow raise it up in order for it to deliver its best.
