Reviews for the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 GX550LXS
With its powerful hardware, the Zephyrus Duo manages to display the latest games smoothly on its matte 4K screen (IPS, Pantone-validated, 100% AdobeRGB, G-Sync). There are other great features as well: 2x NVMe SSD (RAID 0), 32 GB of RAM (in dual-channel mode), Thunderbolt 3. Additionally, the laptop comes with many accessories.

ASUS has refined its dual-screen laptop concept, and the result is very different from what we’ve seen from anyone else this year. Despite its quirks, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is incredibly well-executed and brings the idea of dual-screen gaming rigs to the gaming space where it’s more appreciated. It is incredibly expensive though, but to be fair, the company has thrown in quite a lot of freebies to sweeten the package. People with deep pockets looking for something different might find the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 to their liking, even without the enticing freebies.

Overall, the Zephyrus Duo 15 is a capable gaming laptop. But the 60Hz screen on this configuration limits the capabilities of its chips. (And let’s be honest: while Asus may be trying to market this laptop to content creators, it’s a Zephyrus, and most people will be buying it for games.)

Bells, whistles and everything in between –– the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 has it all. The $3,999 stunner has everything you want in a gaming laptop and some things you didn’t know you needed. For starters, you’ve got the dual-screen setup, which Asus has wisely upgraded by incorporating its AAS cooling system into the mix and allowing the secondary screen to raise, making it easier for gamers to quickly glance down and keep track of the action.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
