Asus showed off the ROG Swift 500 Hz gaming monitor at Computex 2022. The ROG Swift 500 Hz supports Nvidia G-Sync and Reflex Analyzer and is based on an E-TN 1080p panel targeted at ultra-competitive e-sports gamers. The monitor also has an Enhanced Vibrance mode built into the firmware for vibrant colors.

Asus, today, introduced the ROG Swift 500 Hz gaming monitor targeted at ultra-competitive e-sports gamers. The ROG Swift gaming monitor features a 24.1-inch E-sports TN (E-TN) 1080p panel and supports Nvidia G-Sync. Previously, the company offered the ROG Swift 360 Hz PG259QN, which is a 24.5-inch 1080p IPS display with HDR10 support.

According to Asus, the E-TN panel offers 60% shorter response times than a conventional TN LCD display making this monitor the fastest LCD display ever. Apart from support for G-Sync, the ROG Swift 500 Hz also features an Enhanced Vibrance mode that is tuned for e-sports gaming. The Enhanced Vibrance mode is built directly into the firmware and apparently allows more light to pass through the LCD crystals for improved color vibrancy.

The ROG Swift e-sports gaming monitor offers a typical brightness of 400 cd/m2 and a 500 Hz refresh rate. It also supports Nvidia Reflex Analyzer that allows gamers to easily measure and identify the reasons for increased system latency. Connectivity includes 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.2 ports, and a headphone jack.

The latest high-end gaming monitors top-out at a 360 Hz refresh rate, which is still plenty and nothing to scoff at. Recently, BOE announced a 27-inch 1080p 500 HZ panel. Asus's launch of the ROG Swift 500 Hz gaming monitor follows the BOE launch, but it is not yet clear if it is the same panel being used or a different make.

Specifications and availability information for the ROG Swift 500 Hz are not yet known.
