Gaming convertibles are slowly picking up popularity. They are a good pick for on-the-go gamers. But for the properly equipped systems, you will need to spend quite a lot. Take the Asus ROG Flow X13, for example. It stands as a good 2-in-1 convertible, which will set you back by at least $1,249.99. But it does become a little more affordable when it's on sale.

Speaking of which, the ROG Flow X13 is currently enjoying a $550 discount. You can currently score the 2-in-1 convertible for just $699.99 at Best Buy. At that discounted price, you're getting a laptop that comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, a top-end processor from the Phoenix lineup.

We gave the Asus ROG Flow X13 a respectable score of 88%. Although our review unit was a different SKU and it came with a dedicated GPU, many aspects of the variant on sale are the same. That includes the versatile convertible form factor and the solid build quality that we praised in our in-depth look at the gaming laptop.

Now, while the variant of the ROG Flow X13 that's on sale doesn't come with a dedicated GPU, it has the proprietary XG Mobile interface, allowing you to hook the gaming laptop up with an external GPU dock. The Radeon 780M iGPU of the system is quite capable too. It can run many games at good frame rates when the settings are kept at low to medium.

The gaming convertible also comes with a decent screen. It's a 13.4-inch IPS panel with FHD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision HDR.
