Reviews for the Asus GL504GS
With the ROG Strix GL504, Asus introduces a 15-inch high-end notebook that brings almost all the features you could wish for in a gaming platform. A 144-Hz panel? Check. Thin display bezel? Check. RGB keyboard? Check. Hexa-core CPU and DirectX-12 GPU? Check. We explain in our test why this is still not quite sufficient for a "very good" evaluation.

Otherwise, you’re probably better off considering one of the Max-Q laptops on the market, but be prepared to pay even more. ASUS too has a great alternative for those can spend more and that's with their Zepherus M.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Mobile: Pascal based high-end mobile graphics card based on a cut down GP104 (like the GTX 1080) and GDDR5 graphics memory. Successor to the GTX 980M with a 10 Watts higher TDP. Similar to the desktop GTX 1070 performance wise, but with more shaders and lower clock speeds.
With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
