The MSI P65 doesn't have the finesse or the screen quality of rival machines. If you're concerned about having more brightness, better colours and a slimmer, lighter and more mature design, opt for the likes of the Dell XPS 15 or the larger MacBook Pro. However, there's still loads to like about the P65. Its screen still has enough quality to handle photo and video work unless you're particularly discerning - or if you rely on Adobe software. Elsewhere, the P65 has impressive CPU ability, more GPU power than rivals, and good components throughout. It's ergonomically sound, with decent battery life, and its prices are competitive. If you're fussed about power and value rather than style and screen quality, the P65 is a solid option.

Despite sporting a name that sounds like a Government tax form, the P65 Creator is a very interesting creative laptop. In most areas it succeeds, boasting dependable performance, a crisp and colourful display and impressive connectivity. I’d tweak a few little features here and there, but overall I’d be happy to pack this MSI machine in my bag every day.

Model: The MSI P65 is targeted for creators and the laptop is actually a rehash of the MSI GS65. Now, MSI usually designs very flashy and attractive gaming laptops and because the P65 is targeted for creators, where users will be in a productive and professional business environment, the laptop is designed to have a more vanilla and plainer look to it. As for the battery life on the device, if users have the device fully charged, they are able to get up to eight hours of runtime on the included battery. The MSI P65 has a white appearance that also carries through to the inside, including the keyboard and there’s no RGB backlighting, which helps keep that professional appearance. In addition, the P65 has a fingerprint reader located on the touchpad. The screen on the laptop is one of the stand out features, a standard 15.6-inch laptop with a very thin bezel. The P65 has an IPS screen, so it has a really great color reproduction and it also has a 144 Hertz refresh rate, which is usually targeted for gamers, but professionals are able to make use of those things too. Aside from this, the device has the standard integrated webcam and microphone.
Regarding connectivity options, at the right-hand side of the device, users will find a USB 3, USB type C, one DisplayPort, HDMI output and the DC power input for charging and running off mains, and an exhaust port. As for the left-hand side of the device, there is a Kensington lock port, more exhaust for cooling, RJ45 for local network activity, two more USB 3 ports and two 3.5-mm audio jack; one for the headphone and one for the external microphone. The laptop has an NVIDIA GTX 1070 max Q edition and an Intel i7 8750H CPU. The device has a resolution of 1920 x 1080p at 144 Hertz. If users open up the laptop, they will find two RAM slots and two slots for PCI Express SSD. Hence, users can actually change or upgrade on their own. As for the rest of the system, the laptop has cooling fans, heat pipes, CPU, GPU and a very large battery that of course provides a long battery capacity. All in all, the MSI P65 Creator 8RF-442 is a fairly well laid out laptop. It definitely fits a lot into a small package, the laptop has lots of processing power and any content creators would be very satisfied with the MSI P65.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Mobile: Pascal based high-end mobile graphics card based on a cut down GP104 (like the GTX 1080) and GDDR5 graphics memory. Successor to the GTX 980M with a 10 Watts higher TDP. Similar to the desktop GTX 1070 performance wise, but with more shaders and lower clock speeds.
With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

80%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
