A new, powerful vacuum robot, the UBPet V10, is currently being funded as part of a Kickstarter campaign. This is just a vacuum robot and not a vacuum and mopping robot, but it aims to impress with particularly high suction power, which is specified as 22,000 Pa. As usual, the suction power is specified as negative pressure. By comparison, other vacuum robots are advertised with values of just under 10,000 Pa. The manufacturer compares the suction power with a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
A brush is installed that is designed to remove hair, including long animal hair. Mites or heavy particles such as sand also fall within the capabilities of the UBPet V10. The robot vacuum cleaner is said to be able to manage obstacles up to 1.8 centimeters in size, such as thick carpet. The device comes with a simple charging station, but there is no suction station. The battery can be charged within 2.5 hours and then be used for a 50-minute cleaning session. The dust container has a capacity of 300 milliliters. Navigation is possible via laser, which can help the UBPet V10 avoid obstacles.
On Kickstarter, the model is currently promised to supporters at starting prices equivalent to around $325. According to current information, delivery is planned for February 2024. Customers should keep in mind the significant financial risks of crowdfunding campaigns and inform themselves about shipping costs, including import duties.
