Apple to launch Beats Studio Pro later this month as technical specifications leak

9to5Mac has published technical data for Beats Studio Pro, having shared several high-resolution pictures of the unreleased headphones a few days ago. As we discussed previously, the Beats Studio Pro will support Spatial Audio, mirroring the AirPods Max. Additionally, the former will integrate Dolby Atmos and head tracking, as well as active noise cancellation (ANC) and a transparency mode.

Moreover, the Beats Studio Pro is said to rely on a custom-designed Beats chip, not the Apple H2 used in the AirPods Pro 2. Still, this allows the headphones to support Google Fast Pair, Google Find My Device, Apple One-touch pairing, Hey Siri and Apple Find My. The Beats Studio Pro will be compatible with the Beats app for Android too, effectively making the headphones more versatile than the AirPods Max.

Reputedly, the headphones will also feature new 40 mm drivers and up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC disabled. While this is double the official battery life of the AirPods Max, the battery life of the Beats Studio Pro is said to drop to 24 hours with ANC enabled. The Beats Studio Pro is expected to weigh 260 g too, 32% less than the AirPods Max. Currently, Apple is rumoured to launch the Beats Studio Pro on July 19 for €399.99, significantly undercutting the AirPods Max.
