Apple is not expected to replace the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro (curr. $914.97 - renewed premium on Amazon) any time soon. Broadly speaking, new flagships are anticipated to arrive this autumn, presumably during late September or early October.
Typically, Apple has made gradual progress between iPhone generations. For example few visual differences from the iPhone 14 the iPhone 16 series. Nonetheless, rumours have consistently suggested that Apple may adopt an entirely new visual design for at least one iPhone 17 model, possibly the iPhone 17 Air.
Leaker Majin Bu has now shared a CAD render image of an iPhone 17 case, which may well relate to the iPhone 17 Air as the regular iPhone 17. The inclusion of a single rear-facing camera implies that the intended device is not the regular iPhone 17, although it could only be there for illustrative purposes.
The image also does not guarantee that Apple will bring the design presented to market. Evidently, at least one case manufacturer appears to have received word that this design could be final, which would see the return of the Camera Control button too, and not just a Google Pixel-esque camera bar.
While the iPhone 17 series is believed to be a way off for now, Apple is now believed to be readying its next iPhone SE for later this month. According to recent reports, the iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16e could officially debut as early as February 11 and for a lot less than the existing iPhone 16.
