Apple briefly lists its fourth-generation iPad Pro lineup; confirms previous rumours ahead of rumoured March announcement
While Apple is yet to officially announce its fourth-generation iPad Pro lineup, it has effectively already done so. Expected to be released by the end of this month, there had been rumours of Apple releasing up to four new iPad Pros.
As expected, these are two Wi-Fi and two LTE models, as the screenshot below demonstrates. Originally posted to Chinese website Feng and reposted by the likes of iPhone in Canada and MacRumors, Apple briefly listed the upcoming tablets on a Chinese support page. According to the screenshot, the four devices are:
|11-inch iPad Pro||Wi-Fi||A2228|
|11-inch iPad Pro||Wi-Fi & LTE||A2231|
|12.9-inch iPad Pro||Wi-Fi||A2229|
|12.9-inch iPad Pro||Wi-Fi & LTE||A2233|
While Apple is yet to announce when it will be releasing its fourth-generation iPad Pro lineup, reliable Apple leaker CoinX has hinted that it is not that far. Replying to a follower, the account urged them to hold off from buying an iPad Pro right now.
It is worth pointing out that the new iPad Pros will not be a departure from the current models. While we expect Apple to include a new A13X Bionic and three rear-facing cameras, the design and other hardware will likely remain identical.
