Anker soundcore AeroClip 2 launches with 12 mm driver, LDAC and Whisper Mode calls

Anker is folding soundcore and eufy into a single Anker brand at IFA 2026. The company will be rolling all this out gradually with new products, and the AeroClip 2 is one of the first through the door.

The earbuds are Anker's second attempt at the clip-on, open-ear format: the earphones have a soft loop that wraps the rim of the ear instead of sealing the canal. Launch imagery shows brown, black, and cream finishes. Anker says the shape came out of more than 2,000 ear profiles and suits 99 percent of wearers.

Open designs usually pay for their comfort in bass. The counter in the AeroClip 2 is a 12 mm driver plus LDAC support. Calls use the company's Thus AI chip, which pulls speech out of background noise and has a Whisper Mode that keeps quiet talking intelligible at the other end. Battery life is eight hours a charge, 32 with the case, and ten minutes of charging gets you four hours. Bluetooth 6.0 and wireless case charging round the spec sheet out.

They go on sale 22 September at 179.99 euros, about $208, through Anker, Amazon, and retail, similar to the new Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro.

A Pro variant is also launching in January 2027 with the more interesting feature set: one-tap recording, on-device note-taking, and up to eight hours of local audio storage, with recordings searchable through plain-language questions and automatic summaries. There's no price for that one yet.
