Anker brings Valorant Agents to smart chargers with a rare loot box

Anker is teaming up with Riot Games to bring limited edition Valorant designs to two of its newest accessories. Instead of simply putting a printed logo on the casing, this crossover weaves the aesthetic of the tactical shooter into the experience by bringing character designs directly to the smart displays of the devices. The lineup consists of two products we recently covered: the Anker Smart Display Desktop USB-C Hub, which initially debuted in China as the Space Station Dock, and the 100W Anker Laptop Charger Pro. Because both of these accessories already feature built-in digital screens, they serve as the perfect canvas for the gaming collaboration.

These digital screens allow users to customize their charging setup with animated, chibi-style Valorant Agents. The displays are not just for decoration, as they also show practical information like a digital clock, real-time battery charging status, a dedicated focus timer, and other useful metrics. Users can personalize their hardware by choosing from up to eight different Agent themes. Jett appears to be the default Agent at launch, and Anker notes that Phoenix and Killjoy will arrive via an over-the-air software update in October. A character selection menu in the promotional video embedded below reveals five remaining locked silhouettes. Based on their designs, these point to Viper, Cypher, Chamber, Omen, and Reyna, which Anker notes will be officially released in future updates.

To make the launch more appealing for collectors, Anker is also offering an exclusive Valorant gift box. This highly limited package features a large embossed "ACE" graphic and comes packed with game-themed merchandise. Inside this physical loot box, fans will find a Wingman plush keychain, a specialized earbud pouch designed to look like the in-game Spike, a co-branded tote bag covered in character sketches, and a chibi sticker sheet. The catch is that this bundle is strictly reserved for the first 1,000 customers who successfully purchase either the limited edition hub or charger once the official launch goes live.

Right now, Anker is running an early access sign-up phase on its website that ends on September 21 at 11:59 PM PDT. Actual sales go live exactly one minute later at midnight on September 22. Buyers should also be aware of the strict return rules attached to this launch. If you decide to return the charger or the hub, you must also send back the gift box. Anyone who tries to keep the physical collectibles while returning the main hardware will simply have the retail value of the gift box deducted from their refund.

Although we already know the exact prices and rollout schedules for the standard versions of these accessories, the cost of the Valorant editions remains a mystery. The standard Anker Desktop USB-C Hub is scheduled to release on September 10 for around $85, and the base 100W Anker Laptop Charger Pro will hit shelves on September 17 with a retail price of €59.99. However, Anker is keeping the price tags for the limited edition models completely hidden until sales officially open on September 22. Since the exclusive gift box is strictly limited to the first 1,000 orders placed when the site updates, interested buyers will need to be ready to act quickly regardless of the final price tag.
