Anker 778 Thunderbolt Docking Station (12-in-1, Thunderbolt 4) now available in more countries
The Anker 778 Thunderbolt Docking Station (12-in-1, Thunderbolt 4) is now available in the UK and the EU. A 100W Thunderbolt 4 upstream port connects to the host device with a 40 Gbps bandwidth. The Thunderbolt 4 downstream also has a 40 Gbps transfer rate or can connect to a monitor with an 8K@30Hz resolution.
You can use the 778 docking station to connect to up to four displays via Thunderbolt, an HDMI 2.1 port and two DisplayPorts. When four monitors are connected, the maximum resolution is 4K@60Hz for macOS or one 4K@60Hz and three 4k@30Hz displays for Windows. You can charge two other gadgets via 30W USB-C ports with 10 Gbps bandwidth. There is also a Gigabit Ethernet port and four USB-A ports, two capable of 5 Gbps transfers and two at 480 Mbps. The new Anker dock is compatible with various macOS and Windows devices, such as the Dell Latitude 3520 and the Dell XPS 13 9305.
The product measures around 21.0 x 8.0 x 3.2 cm (~8.3 x 3.1 x 1.3-in). The gadget is available directly from Anker in the UK and Germany and in other countries like the Netherlands and France via Amazon. The dock launched in the US in March and is currently on sale for US$379.99.
