Aniimo Season 1 Part 2 update is massive

Pawprint Studio released the Aniimo Season 1 "Departure with the Wind Part 2" update on October 29, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android. The patch adds a new region, raises the level cap to 70, and rebalances several creatures in the free-to-play creature-collecting RPG. The studio also said Aniimo has passed 15 million players worldwide since its September 16 global launch, a figure Pawprint supplied itself without explaining how it counts players.
Whisperwake Isles and the level 70 cap
The new Whisperwake Isles region is split into four areas: Crescent Bay, Rosy Mirelands, Wildwater Gorge, and Cloudreach Falls. Players need account level 55, the Grade I Trailblazer promotion, and the story quest A Tale of Tide and Song to enter. The region adds 51 new Aniimo across 32 new species, including four Prismana variants: Whirlbite, Gachapus, Jabster, and Sugartini. Pawprint says nurturing the islands’ ecosystem attracts the Prismana forms. Character and Aniimo level caps both rise to 70. Once players reach level 60, Dr. Lewis opens the Trailblazer II and Trailblazer III promotion assessments, which gate the higher levels.
Balance changes and free resets
The patch changes abilities and stats for several Aniimo, including Lavazar, Sherro, Inferlupa, and Ignitis. Owners of Tuckin, Panpanta, Sherro, Hexxin, Inferlupa, and Ignitis can reset the raising attributes of each one for free, once per creature. The reset returns the used experience items and reduces the matching experience.
It runs until November 13. Operation: Egg Heist also gets a new three-team PvP mode in which teams compete over a single Legendary Giga-Egg, which Pawprint lists as being in testing. The Magical Wonder Night Home season adds limited crops such as Magic Pumpkin and Memory Lanternfruit. Season events run until December 9, ahead of the next update on December 10.
Technical and mobile changes
Consoles gain support for PSSR AI upscaling and variable rate shading, and menu lag on consoles was reduced. The controller radial menu now groups combat and mobility skills, and controller navigation improved across several interfaces. On mobile, Pawprint rebuilt the shadow system to cut performance overhead and reduced anti-aliasing and global illumination costs to limit overheating. The studio also addressed frequent disconnects and reconnects on mobile.
