Deal | Amazon Prime Day deals drop prices on Keychron's Logitech MX Master alternative and two delightfully retro gaming mice

Keychron's keyboards and peripherals generally strike a solid balance between affordability, build quality, and features, with some of the brand's mice, like the M7 8K and the Logitech MX Master-challenging M6 8K, impressing us in hands-on reviews. For Amazon's October Prime Day, Keychron is offering deals on a number of its best peripherals, including some of its latest releases, both on Amazon and on the brand's own site.

All of the mice in question have wireless connectivity, with both 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for versatility, up to 8 kHz polling, and web-based customisation with options for macros, on-board profiles, layers, lift-off distance, frame rate lock, and button remapping.

The Keychron G3 and G4 are some of the brand's latest and greatest wireless gaming mice, delivering flagship PixArt PAW 3950 sensors with 8 kHz polling, deep customisation via the browser-based Launcher configuration tool, and up to 30,000 DPI and 750 IPS tracking, all wrapped up in a nice retro package, to boot. They also feature 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 as well as USB Type-C for charging.

The G4 is a more compact design akin to the shape of the Logitech G Pro X family, coming in at 55 g and measuring 118.7 (L) × 63.45 (W) × 37.16 (H), with a smooth, chalky coating to help improve grip in sweaty gaming sessions. The G4 itself has an off white and reddish-brown NES colour scheme to it, with pixellated touches on the buttons, scroll wheel, and bottom shell details to add to the retro effect. Keychron claims that the G4 can go for up to 130 hours on a single charge, thanks to its 500 mAh battery.

For Amazon Prime Day, the Keychron G4 is available from Amazon for $59.99 for Prime members.

Meanwhile, the Keychron G3 is also a symmetrical shape and has the same PixArt PAW 3950 sensor, but it has a low front design with a rearward hump, making it slightly more fit for claw and fingertip users. The G3 is available in both a carbon fibre shell with an embossed wave pattern or a 47 g translucent frosted grey polycarbonate shell, but both have a much more noticeable texture on the external surface than the G4. For the duration of the Amazon Prime Day sale, which ends on October 7 at midnight PDT, the '90s-inspired translucent G3 mouse is available for $72.24 on Amazon, down from $84.99.

One of Keychron's most notable recent releases is the M6 8K, which is a rival for the Logitech MX Master 3 and 4 series that adds high polling rates and a more capable sensor into the mix. Like Logitech's MX Master series mice, the Keychron M6 8K has an infinite scroll wheel, and in the case of the M6 8K, it is an aluminium scroll wheel that holds a lot of momentum in the free-spinning mode.

While the M6 8K might not be as refined as the Logitech, especially when it comes to the scroll wheel release function, it does have a fairly lightweight ergonomic shape, silent clicks, a thumb scroll wheel, two programmable thumb buttons, and customisable scroll wheel tilt functionality.

The Keychron M6 8K is available on Amazon for $59.49 for Prime members for the duration of the Amazon Prime Day deal.
