The Redmi Turbo 3 was launched in April as an upper mid-range offering. A new Redmi smartphone has recently been certified in China, rumored to be the successor to the Redmi Turbo 3.
The 3C certification reveals that the phone comes with the model number 24129RT7CC. According to a well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the smartphone that received the certification is the Redmi Turbo 4. The certification does not reveal much except that the phone supports 5G and may feature a 90W charger.
Previously, the tipster hinted that the company may also launch the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model. The standard and Pro models are tipped to feature the Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets respectively. These chipsets have not been announced yet. However, the company is likely to opt for powerful processors since the Turbo 3's main highlight was its high performance.
Moreover, both models are expected to have flat displays with a 1.5K resolution. The smartphones are also tipped to feature large batteries of around 6,000mAh.
The launch details of the Redmi Turbo 4 have not been officially revealed. However, a recent leak suggested that the launch of the smartphone may take place in December. Currently, the company is preparing for the launch of the K80 series, featuring two new smartphones.
