The horror blockbuster is now free to download and keep forever. Alien Isolation is seven years old, but it still looks great in 2021. The game is playable on underpowered GPUs like the Intel UHD Graphics 620, too.

Alien Isolation is still £14.99 on Steam, despite having been released in 2014. However, the game is currently available for free on the Epic Games store. You can download Alien Isolation for free until April 29 at 15:00 UTC, although you must have an Epic account to do so.

Currently, Alien Isolation has scored 8.5/10 from users and 81/100 from critics on Metacritic. Creative Assembly and Sega released the game in 2014, so it will run well on almost any modern GPU, even integrated ones like the UHD Graphics 620. You should have no problems playing Alien Isolation at 4K with high framerates, either. Anecdotally, the game will run locked at 144 Hz on an RTX 3060 Ti or an RX 5700 XT without stressing either GPU that much.

In our opinion, the game still looks good seven years on, too. While Alien Isolation is a rather short game, playing through it on Nightmare mode took us nearly 30 hours. You can download Alien Isolation from here.
