Acer has launched a new mini-PC with Intel Panther Lake and plenty of RAM
Acer has introduced the Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation, a compact Panther Lake system tailor-made for local AI development. It pairs a Core Ultra X7 358H with up to 96 GB LPDDR5X memory and OCuLink expansion.

Acer has unveiled the Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation, a compact Panther Lake mini-PC designed for local AI workloads. It comes alongside Acer’s Nvidia RTX Spark-powered solution. The RI110 AI measures 138.5 x 131.3 x 52.1 mm and weighs around 630 g, making it one of the more compact solutions on the market.Under the hood, the Veriton RI110 can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, which appears to be the only CPU option. For memory, you can get up to 96 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and pair it with an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 SSD. Acer will sell you only up to a 1 TB SSD, although you should be able to add more on your own.

Acer is particularly pitching the Veriton RI110 around hybrid local and cloud AI processing, and claims it can run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters. It supports Acer's Qubi Claw and Intel's SuperClaw agentic AI software. They’re essentially Intel and Acer’s take on popular solutions like OpenClaw. You can program it to handle menial tasks such as online research, travel and appointment suggestions, and recording, transcription, and translation of spoken content into notes, among its initial use cases. Intel SuperClaw, on the other hand, is a tad more sophisticated. It can distribute workloads between local hardware and cloud services. Acer says frequently repeated or sensitive tasks can stay on-device, while cloud resources can handle more complex reasoning or when external knowledge sources are required.

The Veriton RI110 also has OCuLink, giving the tiny workstation a direct PCIe 4.0 x4 connection with up to 64 Gbit/s of bandwidth. This allows users to attach external GPUs or high-speed NVMe storage. For a machine this compact, the Veriton RI110 offers plenty of connectivity, including 10 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Acer also added two USB4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C connections, additional USB 2.0 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Lastly, a fingerprint reader provides biometric authentication, while an external 120 W adapter powers the system.

Acer says the Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation will become available in Q1 2027. Pricing will be announced close to launch.
