If you need a capable and affordable device, the Acer Aspire 5 (A515-58M) can offer a great bang for the buck. The optional 1440p panel (BOE NE156QHM-N61 (BOE0AFE)) is a nice surprise in the budget category. It has a 90% sRGB color coverage and comfortable viewing angles. The display is PWM-free and thanks to our “Design and Gaming” profile it’s color accuracy is seriously boosted from 6.8 to an average dE value of 1.3 which is a great achievement. The snappy pixel response time of just 10 ms is fast and since the iGPU can handle light games on Low and Medium details you can use this laptop for unpretentious gaming.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

74.5%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
