A new certification for a phone called the Xiaomi M1904F3BC has allegedly been found on the TENAA website. It is depicted as having triple rear cameras in a straight line aligned with a corner of its black rear panel, a waterdrop notch and a possible under-display fingerprint sensor. Therefore, the phone strongly resembles the Mi 9.

A new leak suggests that a new device from the OEM Xiaomi is on the way. Thus far, it is known that it has a model number (M1904F3BC); however, not much else is clear about the product. This number has been verified as extant on the TENAA certification database. However, this page does not enlighten us as to its specs or size as yet.

The TENAA database does concede that the Xiaomi M1904F3BC is an LTE/CDMA-enabled device. It also shows images of this phone, which make it seem much like a black Mi 9. It has many of this phone's attributes, including an under-display fingerprint reader due to the lack of any such module on its rear panel.

Therefore, like the rumored Mi 9T Pro and actual Mi 9 SE, it seems that this new phone is yet another variant of the pre-existing flagship. To that end, rumors concerning a new Xiaomi device called the Mi CC9 have arisen. They indicate that, unlike the T or SE, this phone will have a 6.3-inch display, a 32MP front camera, 48MP triple rear cameras, up to 8 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 730 chipset and a 4000mAh battery which charges at 18 watts.

This would make it a completely new variant linked to the Mi 9 line (the 9T may also have a Snapdragon 730, but, as a renamed Redmi K20 Pro, has a very different appearance). It is not clear what this new model could be for: there are rumors that the CC9 is a "selfie-centric" phone, yet reportedly lacks a better front-facing shooter than any other Mi 9 variant (on paper, at least).
