Both the 55 and the 65-inch TCL QM7 feature a VA panel with a 4K resolution, Mini-LED backlighting, and a 144 Hz native refresh rate. The TV also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and rocks the IMAX Enhanced Certification. There is also the AIPQ Pro processor tasked with handling features like upscaling low-resolution content to 4K.

For gaming features, the TCL QM7 supports Nvidia G-Sync/AMD FreeSync, 4K@144 Hz with HDMI 2.1, boasts a quick response time, and a low input lag. RTINGS measured the input lag and response time at only 5.2 ms (4K@144 Hz) and 9.6 ms (100% Response Time), respectively.
