2019 Dell Latitude 7300 and 7400 laptops now shipping for $1300 USD
The Latitude 7000 series is home to Dell's premium business offerings in contrast to the mid-range Latitude 5000 series and budget Latitude 3000 series. As part of the Dell Technologies World conference this week, Dell will be updating its Latitude 7000 range with the new 13.3-inch latitude 7300 and 14-inch Latitude 7400 models to succeed last year's the last generation Latitude 7390 and Latitude 7490, respectively.
Both the Latitude 7300 and 7400 will share very similar chassis designs to each other despite their screen size differences. In fact, both models will even share the same 8th gen Core CPUs with vPro, same PCIe NVMe SSD options, same security features, same 768p/1080p display resolution, and even the same ports and battery capacities. Thus, the only major differences between them are physical as the 14-inch model is both heavier (1.36 kg vs. 1.24 kg) and thicker (17.47 mm vs. 16.86 mm) than the 13.3-inch model.
It's worth noting that GPU options are limited to the integrated UHD Graphics 620 only. We would have loved to see discrete options or perhaps the GeForce MX250 for this premium chassis.
The Latitude 7300 and Latitude 7400 are each now available for a starting price of $1300 USD.
