Xiaomi has listed the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 2.6 kW and Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 3.5 kW on its global website. These will be the brand’s first smart air conditioners to be sold in markets worldwide.
Both Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco models offer cooling and heating, with 3.6 kW heating capacity and 860 W heating power. According to Xiaomi, they can provide heating in as little as 60 seconds or cooling in 30 seconds. The 2.6 kW version has 650W cooling power and a 600 m³/h (~21,190 ft³/h) airflow rate, designed for a room measuring 10 to 20 m² (~108 to 215 ft²). The more powerful 3.5 kW variant has 875 W cooling power and a 650 m³/h (~22,955 ft³/h) airflow rate, suiting larger rooms 15 to 25 m² (~161 to 270 ft²) in size.
These Mijia Air Conditioners are said to provide gentle air flow with a full DC inverter system and a 108 mm (~4.3 inch) cross-flow fan. You can remotely control these devices through the Xiaomi Home app, where you can find the Mijia AI Energy Saving mode and track your energy usage in real time. There is also support for Google Assistant voice commands, and they can be connected to other products in the Xiaomi Home ecosystem. On top fo this, there are smart pre-heating and anti-condensation tools, and filter cleaning reminders.
The energy efficiency labels found under the ‘Specs’ section of the product listings indicate that these two air conditioners will be released in Europe. The devices are listed with an A+++ cooling efficiency rating and an A++/A+++ heating efficiency rating. The seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) is 8.5 while the Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) is 4.6-5.7. However, it is unclear when the Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 2.6 kW and Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 3.5 kW will launch, or how much they will cost.
