Xiaomi is yet to start rolling out MIUI 12.5 globally, but it has issued its latest OS to seven more devices in China. Following on from the Mi 11, now the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 and even the Mi 9 SE are eligible for an MIUI 12.5 stable update.

Xiaomi kicked off its MIUI 12.5 upgrade program in China with the Mi 11, about which we have already reported. Now, the company has expanded the program to seven other devices from its Mi series. Xiaomi had issued some Beta Stable builds to these devices, but the seven should now be eligible for stable MIUI 12.5 updates, albeit only in China for the time being. The seven devices are as follows:

  • Mi 11 Ultra
  • Mi 11 Pro
  • Mi 11
  • Mi 10 Ultra
  • Mi 10 Pro
  • Mi 10
  • Mi 9 SE

If your device is enrolled on the Chinese MIUI, then you can manually check for the MIUI 12.5 update in Settings. Specifically, you must head to the About Device section of My Devices in MIUI 12. If the MIUI 12.5 update still remains elusive, then it may take a few days for Xiaomi to push it to your device.

Xiaomi had hoped to finalise MIUI 12.5 for these devices by April 30, so the company should receive some credit for doing so a week ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, Xiaomi is yet to communicate when it plans to start the MIUI 12.5 rollout globally. All we know is that it will happen sometime this quarter, which is anytime between now and June.
