Xiaomi launches new affordable power bank with built-in cable and 67 W fast charging

Xiaomi has introduced a new affordable power bank in China, and it comes with a rated capacity of 10,000 mAh. Per the company, such a large capacity allows the portable charger to charge most phones more than once.

There's support for 67 W fast charging as well. Xiaomi highlights that this allows the power bank to get the Poco F7 from 0% to 67% in 30 minutes and the F7 Pro to 72% in the same time frame. The portable charger has support for multiple charging protocols, including PD 3.0, QC 3.0, and Apple 2.4A. Thanks to this broad compatibility, it can power up laptops and even low-powered devices like smartwatches and wireless earbuds.

Another highlight is the built-in cable, which makes it a bit more travel-friendly. The new Xiaomi 10000 power bank also has a built-in screen, but it's a basic display and can only show the internal battery percentage and charging status.

Besides the built-in USB-C cable, this affordable power bank has one USB-A and one USB-C port. This configuration allows the portable charger to power up three devices at the same time (3-ft Anker Nano USB-C 240 W cable curr. $15.99 on Amazon).

Among the other highlights are 65 W self-charging, which allows the power bank to go from 0% to 100% in 1.3 hours, a relatively compact form factor, and multiple protection features for stable charging. It's currently available to pre-order in China at CNY 149, about $21. Xiaomi has yet to share details about the international availability and pricing of this power bank, but most of its accessories go global soon after the Chinese launch.
