Blackview is set to debut yet another battery monster in the P10000 Pro. The device will feature an 11000 mAh battery, USB Type-C, and 25W fast charge that’s said to charge the device full in slightly over two hours.

Blackview is one of the numerous Chinese smartphone OEMs on the up. The company has found its niche in the rugged device segment, and while it does take a punt at casual, business smartphones once in a while, only a select few would argue that the Chinese brand isn't at its best when producing rugged, heavy devices. The next device from Blackview will be the P10000 Pro, and it looks to be one to watch out for—at least to the demographic that likes rugged phones.

The P10000 Pro features a 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, which is about expected these days. There’s no actual information about what SoC it will be powered by or other such technical specifications. Those aren’t the device’s selling points, after all. What makes the P10000 Pro worthy of note is the fact that it will feature an 11000 mAh battery. Considering the fact that it’s, you know, the “P10000 Pro”, it’s rather amusing that it goes for a 11000 mAh battery. But hey, more is always better, right?

The device’s extravagant battery wouldn’t be of much use if it took days to charge up, so it’s nice that Blackview also says the P10000 Pro will feature a USB Type-C port with a 5V/5A charger that’s supposed to charge the device up in 2 hours, 25 minutes. That power rating also seems a tad excessive, and we’re rather interested in seeing the real-life implementation and possible repercussions on the battery’s longevity.

The P10000 Pro is said to be able to last up to 50 days on one charge. It will come in two versions—one in leather, and the other in glass.
