Chinese manufacturers Blackview are set for the unveiling of their new S8, P6, and BV9000 Pro devices. The event will be held at the HK Mobile Electronics Fair starting October 18.
The S8 is Blackview's new mid-range offering which looks to follow recent trends. It sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 display, with a HD+ resolution. It's also being marketed as having a bezel-less display but released images of the device don't do a great job of convincing us. It's powered by the mid-range MT6750T, features quad cameras, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a 3180 mAh battery.
Apart from the S8, the company is also billed to announce the launch of the new BV9000 Pro. The BV8000 Pro was a solid device and we're looking forward to seeing what its successor offers. Not much is known at the moment but we're told it features a full-screen 18:9 display, dual rear cameras, Corning Gorilla Glass, and an IP68 certification. The P6 completes the list but there's nothing known about it other than the fact that it sports dual rear cameras, a massive 6180 mAh battery, and a metal body.
We'll be sure to keep you updated on this.
