Sony has revealed the PC system requirements for Stellar Blade. They're relatively light, and the game should run on any PC built in the past five years. Even handheld consoles should have no trouble running it.

After accidentally showing off its Stellar Blade trailer early, Sony has properly heralded its arrival on PC. It will be playable on June 11, and now, we get to know its system requirements. Like many other PS5 ports that arrived on PC, they're relatively light. And if you lack the needed hardware, you can always use DLSS 4 or FSR 3.0 to squeeze out a few extra frames.

As a bare minimum, Stellar Blade demands an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X/Intel Core i7-7600K CPU, GeForce GTX 1060/Radeon RX 580 GPU, and 16 GB of RAM. This configuration will let you play the game at 1080p 60 FPS with all settings set to 'Low'. Not an optimal experience, but these low requirements are great news for handheld console owners. The Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go and MSI Claw should be able to run Stellar Blade effortlessly.

For the best experience, you need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X/Core i5-8400, GeForce RTX 3080/Radeon RX 7900 XT and 16 GB of RAM, once again, not all that demanding, given most of those parts are well over a generation old. Then again, the game was originally designed to run on a PlayStation 5, which uses a mix of Zen 2 and RDNA 2 hardware, so these modest requirements are to be expected. Lastly, Stellar Blade on PC supports the entire suite of DualSense features (wired mode only).

While keyboard and mouse are supported, Stellar Blade is better experienced with a controller, given its Souls-like combat. Sony hasn't mentioned if a PlayStation account is required to play the game, but it will presumably be optional because of the recent backlash it received over the decision. Lastly, the game ships with Denuvo, a famously hated piece of DRM software that is known to cause a plethora of issues
