The OnePlus 13T debuted last month as something of a revolutionary smartphone, thanks to the massive 6260 mAh battery it features despite its 6.32-inch compact factor. The new OnePlus phone has now been pitted against other current-gen flagships in a battery drain test, with some mixed results.
As tested by TechDroider, the OnePlus 13T comes out on top in a test vs the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Pro, and its elder sibling, the OnePlus 13. The Pixel 9 Pro XL comes in a distant last with a total time of 11h01m, followed by the Galaxy S25 Ultra at 12h31m, the OnePlus 13 at 12h45m, and the Xiaomi 15 Pro at 13h05m.
While Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Max typically dominates battery drain tests, it's dethroned by the OnePlus 13T this time. The iPhone comes in second at 13h10m, but the OnePlus phone beats it with a time of 13h42m and as such can be considered to have the best battery life of all premium smartphones on the market right now.
Of course, the OnePlus 13T coming out on top in this test isn't surprising. It's equipped with the largest battery among the tested devices, and also sports by far the smallest display. As is becoming typical with OnePlus phones, the 13T disappoints on a mAh/min basis. The compact flagship delivers an efficiency of 7.1maH/min, despite its smaller display. In comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max manages a class-leading 5.9mAh/min, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra (buy on Amazon) does 6.7mAh/min.
