ZTE has now opened pre-orders for the Nubia Z70 Ultra globally, having presented the device last week in China as a successor to the Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version (curr. $609 on Amazon). To recap, the Nubia Z70 Ultra is one of the first smartphones to launch outside with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. For reference, one of the others is the ROG Phone 9, which starts at $1,099.
By contrast, the Nubia Z70 Ultra comes in at $729 before factoring in launch discounts and gifts. Additionally, ZTE equips the Nubia Z70 Ultra with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 flash storage and a silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery that provides an impressive 6,150 mAh capacity. Moreover, the device finds itself with a large 144 Hz AMOLED display and a high-end set of cameras; please see our launch article for more details in this regard.
Currently, the Nubia Z70 Ultra is available globally in three memory configurations up to and including 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Furthermore, ZTE offers the device in Black, Starry Night and Yellow colour options, although only the first of those is available across all memory configurations.
On top of that, a $50/£50/€50 coupon can be claimed until December 5 at 12:00 by applying SAVE50 at checkout. Pre-orders units will also ship with a free protective case, among other benefits. As it stands, the Nubia Z70 Ultra retails for the following prices before factoring in its launch discount:

- 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage - $829/€849/£749
